what inspires you to do art?

“for me it’s natural, to be a creative person, I think it was genetic my grandma was an artist and my uncle is an artist and that’s on my mother side, nature and music inspires to do art, observing people and cultures inspires me to do art.”

When did you start art?

“I started drawing at about 3 or 4, it was natural I just loved to draw.”

What did you want your art to do? Meaning did you want it to inspire? Reach on the biggest platform? Etc

“art was a form of therapy for me and I like to make people happy with it. It made me happy, uplift the atmosphere from as little from elementary art did that for me, I think I was my happiest when I did art.”

What Are your biggest challenges being an artist?

“as an artist, finding the right reference to inspire me. Getting people to appreciate your work, people thinking it has no value and not having a really defined vision for what I wanted to do with my art.”

How do you feel about art today?

“Art is necessary right now especially with what we’re facing right now globally.Art has the ability to make the intangible tangible. Art is so essential to our society today. Art triggers innovative thoughts. IT helps us to think outside the box, it’s now the time for something new. I do think though it’s so little appreciated although I think it becoming more and more at the forefront, necessary people see the value of art now. I think the artist needs to create more. An artist needs to paint because they are the solution for tomorrow. It expands the imagination.  This generation needs to be inspired”
