what inspires you to do art?
“something about bringing a concept to life and making something small into something great fascinates me. I’m a natural storyteller so I like to convey pieces that tend to have a subliminal message in them.. it kind of forces the viewer to see the bigger picture”
When did you start art?
“I officially started photography in August of 2019.”
What did you want your art to do? Meaning did you want it to inspire? Reach on the biggest platform? Etc
“like I said before I’m a natural storyteller and I believe that photography is more than just a pretty picture. I like putting messages to my pieces so that it makes it not only more memorable but so that it resonates with whoever is looking at it. “
What Are your biggest challenges being an artist?
“my biggest challenge being a photographer would be balancing my work life and my photography life. I think of a new concept almost every day and I can’t get to execute them all the time because of how I work.. so I guess that’s one of the main things holding me back”
How would you describe your photography style?
“My photography style is very dark-based portraiture. I work with mostly shadows and darker colors. Conceptually though, I like to bend themes and merge many ideas into one to make it as creatively harmonious as possible using subliminal messages and poetic undertones.”
